
Christopher Cherry
Registrar
Christopher Cherry, the Registrar of SIMC, has over thirty years of experience as a lawyer in both private practice and in-house in the US and Singapore. He began his career as a judicial clerk in US Federal trial court in Los Angeles, after which he joined a New York City law firm. Chris relocated to Singapore to pursue a cross-border corporate practice, advising clients and working on transactions throughout Asia Pacific and the Middle East. He has over twenty-five years advising MNCs in various in-house positions, including in the Singapore office of Nortel Networks Asia Pacific and in the Singapore and Dubai offices of Limitless LLC, a Dubai World company. Chris has also been an international legal adviser in a Singapore law firm.
Chris is an adjunct faculty member at Michigan State University College of Law, teaching International Business Transactions in MSU’s Kyoto Japan Program and Global Food Law Program. Chris has a Juris Doctor degree from UCLA School of Law and is admitted to practice in New York and California in the US.
