At the Commonwealth Law Ministers Meeting 2026 in Fiji, convened under the theme “Anchoring Justice in a Changing Tide: Strengthening the Rule of Law for a Resilient Future,” Singapore’s Minister for Law Edwin Tong SC hosted a side event on 12 February to promote the Singapore Convention on Mediation.

The Singapore International Mediation Centre (SIMC) successfully completed its Specialist Mediators’ Workshop (SMW) in Guangzhou on 20–21 December 2025, conducted in partnership with the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission and supported by the Guangdong Lawyers Association and the Greater China Association of Corporate Counsel.

On 23 October, the Singapore International Mediation Centre (SIMC) conducted a Negotiation Workshop for the Legal & Compliance team of Singapore Airlines (SIA), led by Lim Tat and Chuan Wee Meng.
