The SIMC Mediator Accreditation Workshop (SMAW), certified by the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI), is a premier training program developed to equip attendees with the tools to carry out a structured mediation process through international mediation frameworks, employ diverse problem-solving techniques, and develop value-creating solutions to a dispute. Previously attended by senior executives, top decision-makers, seasoned professionals, experienced business leaders, senior bureaucrats, retired judges, and legal experts, the program sharpens skills for mediating high-stakes international commercial disputes.
Drawing from our extensive experience in international commercial mediation, the training will incorporate real-life case studies, best practices, and hands-on simulations focused on cross-border mediations. This experiential approach prioritizes peer-to-peer learning and intensive coaching to develop core mediator competencies.
Workshop Structure
This exclusive workshop, open to a limited number of participants, spans a minimum of forty lesson hours and offers a highly interactive, hands-on learning experience. The 40-hour program is divided into Basic and Advanced levels, offering a comprehensive approach to mediation training. Through a mix of interactive exercises, case studies, and guided role-plays, participants will gain hands-on experience in resolving disputes effectively.
