SIMC Joins OneMillionTrees Movement to contribute to a greener and more sustainable Singapore
On February 24, SIMC participated by planting 16 saplings in the OneMillionTrees Movement which is a key part of Singapore National Parks’ City in Nature vision and a key pillar of the Singapore Green Plan 2030. We planted and nurtured a total of 16 saplings along West Coast Road, while at the same time learning more about the biodiversity of our natural landscape. The saplings we planted consist of 3 different native forest species: Memecylon, Cerebra Cultivar and Dedrolobium.
It is a meaningful and valuable experience contributing to our Green City Initiative, getting down into the soil with each other and digging new homes for these saplings. Restoring our natural biodiversity and environment is a social responsibility that all humankind shares, including companies and corporations. Our passion at SIMC extends beyond mediation; we believe in a strong culture of community development. Nurturing the earth we walk on is a step forward.
Our little adventure out of the office has been meaningful and a great team bonding opportunity. We hope these saplings will mature into strong luscious trees and enhance our beautiful green city!
