THE NEW K-WAVE: EVOLUTION IN MEDIATION PRACTICE AND PROCESSES
SIMC is pleased to participate in the Seoul ADR Festival (SAF) which runs from 1 to 5 November 2021.
International mediation has seen significant evolution over the past 2 years, against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic and the Singapore Convention on Mediation. For mediators, practitioners and users, leveraging the key developments and best practices in mediation will be critical to catching the next wave and unlocking success in dispute resolution.
This year, we have put together an interactive 2-part event where eminent experts discuss the growing importance of international mediation in Korea and across Asia:
· deep dive into key growth areas: from infrastructure to investor-state, energy to employment disputes;
· employing hybrid modes of ADR for success in dispute resolution;
· critical role of bespoke processes: co-mediation and more.
Don’t miss the K-wave:

The Seoul ADR Festival (SAF) is an internationally recognized ADR event organised with the support of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB). Composed of various sessions addressing the process of dispute resolution from diverse perspectives, the SAF provides a platform for legal professionals, academics, and users to gather and exchange ideas on how to accommodate better the growing demand for ADR services and develop dispute resolution practices around the world. The 2021 edition of the SAF will run from 1 to 5 November 2021 and features the 10th Asia Pacific ADR Conference as its flagship event. SIMC is proud to host a webinar on 1 November 2021 to kickstart the SAF.
