As the global dispute resolution landscape evolves, countries are increasingly seeking ways to ensure they stand out as international dispute hubs. In August 2019, MPs from the UK APPG for ADR undertook a fact-finding visit to Singapore to understand what lessons the city-state may hold for the UK if it is to retain its position as a leading centre for arbitration and ADR. Based on meetings with leading Singaporean decision makers from business, government and the judiciary, the APPG report recommendations set out policy proposals for both the UK and Singapore, and will appeal to anyone with an interest in global best practice in dispute resolution.
“Securing the UK’s position as a global disputes hub: Lessons from Singapore” will be launched at an online event on Wednesday 21st October (17.00-18.30 SGT). Join the CIArb Policy as speakers share key findings and recommendations in global best practices in dispute resolution.
The event is free and registration is open to all on the CIArb website.« Back
