China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) promises a wave of development and business opportunities for countries along the BRI corridors.
Dr Yu Jianlong, Secretary General of the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), will share Chinese perspectives on the opportunities and challenges that may arise from dynamic business and legal environments along the BRI.
Mr Hee Theng Fong, consultant at Eversheds Harry Elias and director of the Singapore Chinese Culture Centre and the Chinese Development Assistance Council, will chair a panel on risks the Chinese approach in resolving cross-border BRI disputes. The Panel will also explore various Chinese and regional ADR initiatives, and discuss Singapore’s continuing role in providing truly neutral and effective dispute resolution services.
